Buddhist Thanka House was established in 2059 B.S. It's main motive is to manufacture, export, wholesale, retail of Tibetan, Japanese and Newari Thanka painting. It's show room is situated at Thamel.

It has it's own sixty potential painter who are totally devoted in Thanka painting. Buddhist Thanka house had performed different types of exhibition throughout the country and also in Japan at gallery GALA from in 2003 A.D.
